Roslan Hamid
Retail business owner, Kota Bharu
I booked the First Stone session when I could not figure out how to handle a supplier who kept delivering late. I was not sure one session would be enough. Azlan listened for a long time before he said much, and the summary he sent two days later laid out a clear approach I had not thought of. I have used it since then.

F&B owner, Pasir Mas
I was looking at opening a second outlet and felt pulled in several directions at once. Nadia helped us work through the Crossing Review over five weeks. She did not tell us whether to open or not — she helped us understand what we needed to know before we could decide that ourselves. That was exactly what we needed.

Six months with Kemuning through a difficult restructure. I had a member of staff who had been with me for years and the whole situation was tangled — personal, financial, and operational at the same time. Monthly sessions with Nadia kept me thinking clearly when I would otherwise have reacted badly. Worth considerably more than it costs.

Light manufacturing, Tumpat
We used the First Stone session ahead of a large equipment purchase we had been putting off for two years. In all honesty, I expected them to just validate what I had already decided. Instead, Azlan pointed out a timing factor I had completely missed. We adjusted the purchase by three months and saved a meaningful amount.

Retail clothing, Kota Bharu
I did a Crossing Review when I was considering changing how I sourced products — a fairly big shift after eight years of doing it the same way. The written step plan they produced was simple enough to actually follow. I did not need a 30-page strategy. Two pages with clear actions was exactly right.

Zulhilmi Yusoff
Services business, Kota Bharu
I started with First Stone in January and moved to a Crossing Partnership by March. In the six months since, we have worked through two of the three biggest challenges I had been carrying for years. I find the monthly session keeps me focused in a way I do not manage on my own.

Case Study 01 · First Stone
A retail owner paralysed by a pricing decision
Challenge
An owner of a small hardware shop had not changed his prices in four years despite rising costs. He was losing margin but feared that raising prices would drive customers to a nearby competitor.
What we did
In a single First Stone session, we worked through his actual margin position, identified which product categories were most price-sensitive, and designed a selective increase that minimised exposure.
Outcome
He implemented targeted price changes over six weeks. No measurable loss of regular customers. Monthly margin improved by approximately 11% on the adjusted lines.
"I had been putting it off for two years. It took one session to see what I actually needed to do."
Case Study 02 · Crossing Review
An F&B owner preparing to expand to a second outlet
Challenge
A café owner had found a suitable second location and wanted to move quickly. But cash flow was tight and the existing operation depended heavily on the owner's personal involvement.
What we did
Over five weeks, we mapped the cash requirements, identified the staffing dependency risk, and built a sequenced crossing — five steps the owner could take before committing to a lease.
Outcome
The owner completed steps one through three over two months, confirmed the cash position was manageable, and signed a lease on the second outlet. The second location opened in month four without disrupting the original.
"The plan did not feel like a plan until I was already doing it. That is actually a good thing."
Case Study 03 · Crossing Partnership
A service business navigating a difficult team transition
Challenge
A small professional services firm was restructuring after a senior team member of nine years resigned. The departure left gaps in client relationships, internal processes, and the owner's own confidence.
What we did
Six monthly sessions covered different dimensions of the transition — client communication, process documentation, a hiring decision, and the owner's own role as the firm stabilised. We stayed in step with what was actually happening rather than following a fixed plan.
Outcome
All existing clients retained through the transition. New hire in place by month four. By month six, the owner described the business as more stable than it had been for several years before the departure.
"Having someone to talk to monthly kept the whole thing from feeling like a crisis that wouldn't end."
